DTU Athletics and Trackfit (eng)
Trongårdens IF and DTU Sport collaborate to give students and employees at DTU the opportunity to practice athletics and Trackfit team training. You are always welcome to attend free trial training at all teams.
With a DTU athletics membership at Trongårdens IF for DKK 700 per half year, you get the opportunity to participate in the training offers below. A DTU athletics membership membership does not include paid entry fees for competitions.

Trackfit
Description | Trackfit is the name of our team strength training, where there is a focus on community and getting your body moving and strengthening. In Trackfit, you do exercises with tools and body weight to strengthen the whole body. The training is for everyone regardless of level and there is always an instructor who guides the team through the training. Training takes place outside throughout the year. |

Middle and long distance running
Description | The TIF running group competes at all distances from 800 m up to the marathon. The joint training primarily consists of intervals on a track with a 2-3 km warm-up as well as jogging and a tempo ride in Dyrehaven, but in winter there are also runs or speed runs (runs with 2-3 minute jerks). In order to benefit from the training, you should preferably have a reasonable training background and be able to run a minimum of 10 km in 45-50 minutes. |

Sprint and jump
Description | On this team, everyone is welcome – both those who have practiced athletics before and those who would like to try it. You can choose from time to time whether you want to participate in the sprint part or the jump part. Sprint training focuses on the short distances and how to get faster on these, as well as on hurdles for those who want it. Jump training focuses on long jump, triple jump and high jump. |

Javelin
Description | Only experienced athletes who can demonstrate previously achieved results in the javelin throw can participate in this team. |
